Pelicans in Oklahoma?

This morning I was delighted to see two American White Pelicans floating by the house. I am fascinated to learn that thousands of pelicans migrate to Grand Lake every year. Normally they are gathered in large groups as they fish/eat. They are huge with a wide wingspan and when they land their feet turn into waterskis. Just fascinating.

As I watched these two loners float by I longed to see one fly up, sit on the rail and allow me to gaze up close at its beauty. Instead, the Lord showed me this…
