Keep sparkling!
I truly love listening to (and in the case of FB, watching) you sparkle as you share about the things you love. Your passions! You are truly blessed to be able to serve and work in the area of your passions. It’s amazing to me to see how God has wired and gifted each one of you. I know some of you may not think you are all that interesting, but I do!
This past week, we had dinner with our neighbor across the hall. A vibrant 92 year old man whose career was in the oil industry. Fascinating life! Interestingly enough, we both had Yorktown Heights, NY addresses (not at same time). He lost his wife to Alzheimer’s several years ago. His younger lady friend who also lives here writes poetry and at one time owned race horses! She lost her husband a few years ago also to Alzheimer’s
Yesterday, we had the privilege of meeting and talking to our next door neighbor who just moved in. He’s 90. Still works. Has started over 50 companies globally. His wife died in January. He described her as the love of his life and business partner.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not so much impressed with the what you each have done as I am the passion in which you’ve done it and the way you sparkle when sharing! “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
Thank you for sharing your lives, your passions. You each are a gift to be unwrapped and enjoyed.
Have a great day!
